Well done! Pursuing profit also forces media organizations to respect their audiences, which fortuitously fits nicely with the Founders' view that each individual has dignity and their opinions are to be valued. Concepts like transparency, an ethic of never presenting fact or opinion that the outlet does not believe to be true, respecting all voices, welcoming debate, and treating audiences like valued customers are both good journalism and good business.
